Following a competition win for the refurbishment of the roof of the Galleria Riga shopping center in collaboration with Studio Sija and 8x8+ , a design has been developed which aims to create the highest public square of the city - a place that is freely accessible to visitors and offers unique views of the historical rooftop landscape of Riga. The project includes a complete overhaul of finishings, reconstruction of all utilities, and the construction of 5 new pavilions for cafes and restaurants. The design and layout of the pavilions is aligned with the existing values of the historic center of Riga as recognized by UNESCO - a spatially harmonious urban environment, panorama and silhouette.
